Hi, my name is Mecealia Johnson. I am the CEO and Founder of Christian's Vision Inc. I started Christian’s Vision because my son, Christian, passed away at 5 years old. Upon giving birth to my baby boy, I found out he had Meconium Aspiration–he was kept inside me for too long and lost oxygen to his brain. At the age of 1, I found out that Christian was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. When I received word of his diagnosis, nothing changed for me. I knew that was my baby and I vowed to care for him for life.

 

Christian was so full of life even though people would say he was in pain. I didn’t see it that way. He was my son and I was determined he would not go into a home because he was mine.

 

Christian had a Tracheotomy Gtube and Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS). My life became a mission to raise awareness about this condition that affects children around the world. Epilepsy is real and so is Cerebral Palsy. All childhood illnesses are real and parents need resources to see them through. Christian's Vision was created with that just in mind.
